Everyone in the unit has received and alert order. Soldiers that are being transferred into the unit have now received this same order. There will be lots of new faces around the armory. Take the time to get to know each other; these will be the same soldiers you may be spending the next year and a half with. The training that is going to be conducted is very important for each and every soldier. If we do it right the first time, we can cut down our time and the mobilization site and spend more time with our families. If your given a task, be sure to research and completed it in the most professional manner.

Everyone of has answered the call for service. I am confident in each and every soldier’s ability in this unit. I have said this before and will continue to say it, no matter who we are attached to. The 1175th MP CO is the best I have seen. This is reflected in the manner in which you all have conducted yourself in the last two years. We have built a company from the ground up while performing four State Emergency Duties. This may not seem like much at first glance but I can assure that it is a great feat. Because of this, I can say that no matter what the future holds, the 1175th MP CO "Bull Dogs!" will stand ahead of the rest. God bless every one of you and your families and I will see you all at drill weekend.

Key leaders / Section Leaders are reminded of their requirement to ensure the soldiers have all materials needed to teach their classes for August, September, and October drills and that they check the materials for classes to be taught in the next three months of drill.  This includes a sign-in roster, risk assessment, class outline, references, and request for training aids / materials from supply as needed. Training classes have to be turned in to training at the end of each drill, this includes but not limited to. 1. The Class, 2. The Class sign-in roster with header filled out completely, 3. Training outline, 4. Risk Assessment, and 5. A simple AAR of what went right and what went wrong (needs improved upon).

Soldier going to school will request all required paperwork, orders, travel arrangements, packing list items, directions, GOV BOA card activation, etc within 72 hours of signing their counseling and receiving their pre-execution checklist and school packet.

The Executive Officer (XO) or acting XO will be in charge of all Training meetings.  Training meetings will happen on time as scheduled regardless if everyone is present or not. No exceptions. Don’t be late.

See the XO section for my guidance on how the meetings will be conducted.

All soldiers are mandated by TAG guidance to maintain 100% OCIE at the unit in their assigned wall lockers at all times.  Any and all violations of this order will result in immediate disciplinary counseling and repeat offenders will receive disciplinary action accordingly.

Platoon Sergeants will read the news letter to their platoons each month of drill, from top to bottom.
